Birthing Workshop for you and your birth partner

Do you want your birth partner to be fully and usefully involved during labour and childbirth?

I offer a two-hour session during which time you and your birth partner will be able to familiarise yourselves with a number of very useful acupressure points. These acupressure points can be applied by your birth partner during labour for pain relief and to help the natural process of delivery.

This session concentrates on showing you and your birth partner the exact location of those acupressure points and to explain their uses. Some of these points may ease labour pains whereas others may help you to stay focused and calm during labour.

You will also receive a handout with all the information which will enable you both to practise further the locations of the acupressure points and their uses at home at your leisure.

A two-hour session is usually all that it takes for the birth partner to get a good overview over these useful acupressure points. This enables him or her to be more fully and effectively involved and enhance the process of childbirth.

Acupressure allows you unrestricted movement and the option of using water during labour.

To be really effective ideally book by 36 weeks to become thoroughly familiar with the points and their functions!
